Fundstelle: Die Karte in IMS verzeichnet Pecine zwar südlich des westlichen Ortsrands von Viminacium und NNO von Kod grobalja, da jedoch das Amphitheater als Orientierungspunkt fehlt (nach Wikimapia, das jedoch einen anderen Grundriss von Viminacium zeigt, etwa westlich von Karaula; dann wäre Pecine südlich des Amphitheaters) und der Höhenverlauf nicht nachvollziehbar ist, ist der Ort nicht exakt zu lokalisieren. "Rettungsgrabung" spricht für eine Lage bei der Termoelektrana. Odluka o izgradnji sledeće elektrane i novog površinskog kopa doneta je 1976. godine. Gradnja termoelektrane je iziskivala da se od 1978. godine započne opsežno iskopavanje rimskih grobnica, ali i selidbu groblja meštana sela Stari Kostolac. Sporost arheoloških istraživanja naročito u periodu od 1978. do 1981. godine, značajno su usporavali radove na otvaranju kopa „Drmno“ ali su bez obzira na tu činjenicu očuvani svi arheološki objekti, koji su otkriveni tih godina. Troškovi su podmirivani iz tekućeg poslovanja preduzeća. Poduhvat na konzervaciji nalazišta Viminacijum morao da se završi pre postavljanja temelja.[Die Entscheidung über den Bau der folgenden Kraftwerke und neue Oberflächen Mine wurde 1976 hergestellt.
