Staro Nagoričane (Macedonian: About this sound Старо Нагоричане (help·info)) is a village in Republic of Macedonia and the seat of the Staro Nagoričane municipality. The village is primarily known for its 11th century Church of St. George, first constructed in 1071 during Byzantine Macedonia, and reconstructed between 1313 and 1318 by Serbian King Stefan Milutin, who conquered the northern parts of Macedonia in 1282.

L'église faisait originellement partie d'un monastère orthodoxe, probablement fondé par Romain IV Diogène en 1070. L'ensemble est restauré par Stefan II Milutin en 1313, et l'église actuelle est alors édifiée. Ses fresques sont peintes de 1317 à 1318[1].
