Rodà (Hrsg.), Roma y las provincias: modelo y difusión 1 (Roma 2011) 323-335: "During gravel extraction for construction works on the building of a part of the Zagreb-Goričan highway leading to the Hungarian border, in the village of Poleve (on geographic maps of the Međimurje region the site also appears as Marof Poleve farmstead) southwest of the town of Čakovec in northwest Croatia, between the Drava and Mura rivers, in the year 1997 excavating machines extracted from a gravel pit (artificial lake) two well-presserved marble arae".
