Commentary
(C): Reynolds ordnet den Text, ebenso wie AE 1983, 940 und 941, der cohors II Hispanorum scutata Cyrenaica zu, die ihrer Meinung nach um ca. 20 v. Chr. an den Kriegen gegen die Marmariden beteiligt war (zum Datum des Krieges siehe Groag, RE IV A 1 (1931) 826). Datierung: augusteische, julisch-claudische Zeit. (B): Abweichungen in Lesung und Klammersetzung. M. Le Glay sieht in der Kohorte die cohors I Hispanorum equitata.
