Commentary

Architrav. (C): Der Genannte wurde bislang i. d. R. als Statthalter von Syrien angesehen und mit dem gleichnamigen Pontifex des Jahres 155 n. Chr. gleichgesetzt; nach Eck: Statthalterschaft in Syrien nicht zwingend, da Familie aus Heliopolis stammt, also eine dort aufgefundene Inschrift nicht in Zusammenhang mit Amt zu stehen braucht und der Dativ am Anfang der an einem Architrav angebrachten Inschrift auf einen Grabbau hinweist.
