Commentary
Die Inschrift findet sich auf zwei weiteren Ziegeln wieder, die zusammen mit dem vorliegenden Ziegel die Rückwand eines loculus auskleideten. Die gestempelte Inschrift ist jeweils erhalten. Zu T. Statilius Maximus als Besitzer der figlinae Brutianae vgl. P. Setälä, Private Domini in Roman Brick Stamps of the Empire (Helsinki 1977) 186-187.
