Inschrift ausgemeißelt auf Vorderseite; sekundär verwendet als Meilenstein. Identisches Formular mit dem Meilenstein von Monthey: AE 1962, 393. Inschrift a wurde getilgt und stattdessen Inschrift b auf der Rückseite angebracht. Datierung und Buchstabenhöhe beziehen sich auf die frühere Inschrift (a). Inschrift a: Datierung: nach den Decennalia Diokletians. Inschrift b: 310-312 n.Chr; Buchstabenhöhe 3-11 cm. (B): Inschrift a: Mottas; AE 1985, 0658a: Z. 2: letiano e[t]; Z. 3/4: Max(i)nia[n]/o; Z. 5: [Augg(ustis)]; Z. 6: [sta]ntio; Z. 9: multa; Mottas: Z. 10: XX(annalia) a [Va]l(l)[e]Cla(udiensi); AE 1985, 0658a: Z. 10: XXannalia. Inschrift b: Mottas: Z. 17: F(oro) Cl(audii) Val(lensium). IXX steht für 21 römische Meilen. Material: Kalkstein aus dem Jura.
