Commentary
2 nicht aneinanderpassende Fragmente eines langgestreckten Blocks mit einem eigens gerahmten Inschriftfeld in der Mitte. Maße beziehen sich auf das rechte Fragment (b); Maße Fragment a: (46) x (47) x 28. Material: dunkelgrauer Kalkstein. Lesung und Ergänzung der Inschrift nach G. Alföldy. Es handelt sich wohl um einen Kenotaph, da die eigentliche Grabinschrift der Familie in Viver zutage kam (CIL II (2. Aufl.) 14, 258 = CIL II 4011). Die Familie ist noch durch weitere Inschriften aus Jérica und Viver bekannt: CIL II (2. Aufl.) 14, 237 = CIL II 3558 = 3997, CIL II (2. Aufl.) 14, 267 = CIL II 4010 = AE 1984, 600.
