Commentary
Oberer Teil einer Grabstele mit Giebel. Links und rechts des Giebels ursprünglich zwei Voluten, die jedoch entfernt und an deren Stelle zwei Kreuze gesetzt wurden. Die Stele trug zunächst eine Grabinschrift, von der die hier wiedergegebene Inschrift die Z. 1 nutzt; die Z. 2-4 wurden vollständig eradiert, in Z. 7 ist noch die alte Schlußformel H F C zu erkennen. Datierung: legio III Italica seit 179 in Augsburg. Z. 2: AE-Ligaatur; Z. 2: AE-Ligaturen; Z. 4: ND-Ligatur; Z. 5: ML-Ligatur, I klein in mittleren Winkel des M eingeschrieben; Z. 6: E klein über Querhaste des L; O klein in Bogen des C;
