Commentary
12 Blöcke, von denen 2 (h und l) heute verschollen sind. Angegebene Breite entspricht der rekonstruierten Länge der Inschrift. Maße Block a: 105 x 150 x 29 cm, b: 105 x 115 x 25 cm, c: 105 x 248 x 28 cm, d: (75) x (60) x 28 cm, e: 102 x 104 x ? cm, f: 104 x (118) x 29 cm, g: 102 x 166 x 52 cm, i: (64) x (60) x 29 cm, k: 102 x 109 x 28 cm, m: (79) x (98) x 28 cm. Die Blöcke waren ursprünglich ins Forumspflaster eingelassen; eine Lochreihe unterhalb der Buchstaben diente nach G. Alföldy, CIL II² 374 ehemals wohl zur Anbringung eines Gitters. Schreibtechnik: litterae aureae (in Buchstabenbettungen); erhalten sind jedoch nur die Buchstabenbettungen. Datierung: Bau des Forums in augusteischer Zeit, vielleicht zwischen 10 v. Chr. und 10 n. Chr.
