Commentary
Sogenannte Porta Aurea in der landseitigen Stadtbefestigung. Die beiden Inschriften verteilen sich auf die Ost- (a) und die Westseite (b) des Bogens über dem mittleren Tordurchgang; Inschrifttext auch literarisch. überliefert. Schreibtechnik: litterae aureae (von außen eingedübelt); erhalten sind jedoch nur Dübelöcher. Metrik: Hexameter. Datierung: zwischen dem Sieg Theodosius' I. 388 und seinem Triumphzug am 10.11.391 n. Chr.
