Commentary

Die Person des Geehrten ist umstritten. J.H. Oliver identifiziert ihn mit A. Didius Gallus, cos. 39 (siehe PIR (2. Aufl.) D 70), A.R. Birley meldet dagegen schwere Bedenken an und sieht in ihm Cn. Hosidius Geta (siehe PIR (2. Aufl.) H 216). Die Inschrift besteht aus vier Fragmenten. Die Maße von Fragment a) sind: Höhe: -17; Breite: -15; Tiefe: 5. Die Maße von Fragment d) sind: Höhe: -18; Breite: -23; Tiefe: 11. Die Maße von Fragment e) sind: Höhe: -16.5; Breite: -18.5; Tiefe: 21.
