Commentary
Tafel mittig vertikal in zwei aneinanderpassende Teile zerbrochen. Wohl aus dem Kastell von Esztergom-Hideglelőskereszt verschleppt. Z. 10: nachträgliche Tilgung des einem dux Valeriae limitis nicht zustehenden, irrtümlich eingehauenen Rangtitels eines vir clarissimus comes ordinis primi. Datierung: Equitius war magister utriusque militiae ab 365, ab 24. August 367 war Gratian, der hier nicht genannt wird, Augustus. (B): CIL 03, 10596; ILS: Z. 10: Abweichungen in Lesung/Ergänzung.
