Commentary
Z. 1-2 gehören zu einer Inschrift aus dem 2. oder 3. Jh. n. Chr. und befinden sich auf den Akroteren des Sarkophagdeckels (aus dieser Zeit wohl auch eine ascia beim rechten Akroter); die übrigen, aber eradierten Zeilen dieser älteren Inschrift befanden sich auf dem Sarkophagkasten (Inschriftfeld in Form einer tabula ansata). Die spätere, heute noch lesbare Inschrift befindet sich zwischen den Akroteren auf dem Sarkophagdeckel; rechts der Inschrift eine ascia. Z. 3/4 (spätere Inschrift): hinter MATRI und am Anfang von Z. 4 noch Reste nicht mehr identifizierbarer Buchstaben. (B): Bulić; ILJug: Leseabweichungen.
