Commentary

Die Tafel ist beidseitig jeweils mit dem gleichen Gedicht beschrieben, jedoch mit unterschiedlicher Zeilenordination; dabei wurde die Tafel für die umseitige Beschriftung um 90 Grad gedreht. 5 aneinanderpassende Fragmente, davon eines verschollen (Seite a: Z. 6: Buchstaben MIN; Seite b: Z. 7: A S, Z. 8: ORA), bei der Auffindung erhalten waren außerdem: Seite a: Z. 2: S; Z. 3 (Anfang): S LAC; Seite b: Z. 7 u. 8: E. Maße beziehen sich auf Seite a; Seite b: (46,5) x (41,5) cm; Buchstabenhöhe 6,5 cm; rekonstruierte Maße: ca. 120 x 60 cm. Weißer Marmor mit blauen Adern. Auf Seite a Hilfslinien für die Beschriftung. Auf Seite b je eine hedera am Ende von Z. 2 u. 3. Metrik: Hexameter. Ergänzungsvorschlag nach Marin u. a. (B): CIL III 2671; CIL III 8653; CLE; Brunšmid: Leseabweichungen.
