Commentary
Iambic trimeters almost pure, inspired by Catullus. Since Titus Pomponius Victor is mentioned as procurator also in an epigraph found in the Alpes Poeninae (AE 1898, 0098), it is probable that both inscriptions are datable to the period after the unification of the two provinces. (B): Grenier: Z. 4: montes; Z. 5: lucus; Z. 12: ex genio Asteri (line not mentioned in other editions).
