The Epigraphic Geography Database is another sub-database of the EDH in addition to the Epigraphic Photo Library, the Epigraphic Text Database and the Epigraphic Bibliography.

• The search mask of the Geography Database allows searching the approximately 30,700 records on modern sites of inscriptions, as well as information on their ancient names and assignments to ancient provinces; the metadata also recorded includes links to other online geographic gazetteers, geographic coordinates, and documentation of the site assignment.
• Geographic coordinates refer to the part of the site marked in green, otherwise to the modern site.
• The polygons of the provinces as used in the Province Detail Views can be downloaded from the Open Data Repository, as well as all other geographic data.
• The province detail views list all sites assigned to that province, the site detail views present all information about that site as well as a listing of all inscriptions found at that site.
